Associate Membership

If you are a regular theatre goer or would like to attend annual social events, while supporting a local drama society, associate membership is for you! As an Associate Member of Rottingdean Drama Society, you not only join a group of over 100 members, you also receive a free ticket to all four productions and at least one private social performance every year. Active Membership

If you are interested in becoming involved in any part of putting on a production at Rottingdean Drama Society, Active Membership is for you. All ages, from all walks of life are Active Members, from young children for pantomime to more mature members. There is a job for everybody.

• Have you ever dreamt of performing on stage, directing a pantomime, making costumes or maybe building scenery?

• Do you have some spare time in the evening or at weekends?
• Maybe you are new to the area and want to make new friends and meet people?
• Or perhaps, you feel shy and want to achieve something to build your self-confidence?

If you answered yes to any of the above, you should join as an Active Member. This membership includes acting, technical duties, front of house and every part of putting on a performance! [more]

Audtions

Auditions are held for every production about two weeks before rehearsals start. If you are interested in joining as an active member, it's often worth attending an audition and reading for a part. This will give you a good opportunity to meet many members and get a feel of the society. [more]
