Synopsis

This is a tale of Girl Power in the 17th Century. April de Angelis' historical comedy, featuring Nell Gwyn, is frank, feisty and fruity an exuberant and witty drama. Charles II has been restored to the throne, England's theatres have finally reopened and, for the first time, women have been allowed to perform in public. Will anyone take them seriously?
