Synopsis

This comedy about the sadness and madness of family life is set in the mid 1970s. A close-knit family gathers to spend Christmas together on the large housing estate where they live. There are undercurrents, overcurrents and the occasional tidal wave as they deal with issues ranging from the legacies of the swinging 60s to who has paid the most for their sofa.
